My Bedroom

I have recently redecorated my bedroom.  I chose peacock blue, or teal for the walls, and added white beadboard wainscoting.  My furniture is mismatched and has been collected at thrift stores, garage sales, and estate sales over the years.  I have a gallery wall opposite my bed.  I have been collecting this art work for several years.  I love art, and am drawn to painting of animals, children, still lifes, and pastoral landscapes.

I used Behr Cherry Cobbler on the walls.  I love bold color.  I got the large mirror and antique leather wing chair at an estate sale in my neighborhood.

Let's Give This A Whirl!

I have been enjoying perusing other people's blogs for a few years now.  After getting a new digital camera for Christmas, I decided to post some pics, and start a blog.  I enjoy home decorating, gardening, cooking, and I love animals.  I have 4 chihuahuas, and one sweet Mama cat.   I love shopping for bargains at thrift stores, garage sales, and estate sales.  I have been renovating a cottage built in 1940 in Greenville, TX.  I hope to meet other people with the same interests.
